We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Springdale, Arkansas. Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage sales tax filings, including timely submissions and reconciliations.
• Record journal entries and maintain detailed documentation to support financial transactions.
• Oversee general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are properly classified and reconciled.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.
• Support audits by providing accurate records and assisting with inquiries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and accounting standards.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting issues to support decision-making.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in preparing corporate tax returns and managing sales tax processes.
• Strong skills in recording journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
