Customer Service & Parts Representative (Marine Engine Parts)
Location : Seattle, WA
Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Compensation : $22 / hour during evaluation period; $25 / hour + commission upon hire
Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service & Parts Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for processing customer orders, managing inquiries, providing quotes, and maintaining accurate records for marine engine parts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
As our company operates under federal contracts, all candidates must pass a background check and drug screening (including THC) prior to employment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide customer service support and process incoming parts orders.
Research and provide accurate technical data and part numbers.
Manage all aspects of order processing, including order entry, quotes, invoicing, and follow-ups.
Maintain organized customer and order files.
Promote product sales and provide support to the sales team.
Ensure consistent accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions.
Maintain regular attendance and comply with company policies.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience identifying parts through manuals or online systems using engine serial numbers or VINs.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and 10-key data entry.
Strong computer and data management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum two years of experience in customer service, order processing, or parts sales.
Experience in marine or mechanical parts identification preferred.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular talking, hearing, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing. Must be able to lift and move items up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
