Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python). Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Security+, ITIL).

Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain essential IT infrastructure. This position is ideal for an experienced and hands-on professional with expertise in Microsoft technologies and network security - and telephony systems experience and AI integrations experience are preferred.
This is a contract-to-hire role, and is onsite 5 days a week in Oakland, CA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as technical escalation for complex IT infrastructure issues.
- Design, deploy, and optimize IT systems, ensuring security and reliability.
- Manage enterprise applications, virtual environments, and networks.
- Oversee telephony systems, including AI-enabled integrations.
- Drive security management protocols and best practices.
- Mentor team members and collaborate across departments.
