Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas and help to deter security-related incidents. In this primarily driving post, you will conduct regular checks, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to everyone on site. Pay Rate : $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PMSun07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, hazards, or unusual situations, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management in the event of emergencies or incidents at the location.
  • Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner as per Allied Universal and client standards.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
