Mechanic - Oil Changes, Wiper Changes & Basic Preventative Maintenance

Dolphin is looking for an Entry-Level Automotive Maintenance Technician in the Naples area to join our team. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to start their career as a mechanic! We are looking for a courteous and friendly team player, who is a self-starter with an excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Dolphin Transportation is a 24 hr. / 365-day operation. We operate 7 days a week and hours may vary.

Employment Type Full-Time

Dolphin is a very busy transportation company in need of a dedicated individual to help with our vehicle maintenance program. A positive attitude and a commitment to quality work are a must!

Job Duties

  • Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on our cars, buses, coaches, and mini coaches.
  • Perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, and tire pressure checks.
  • Replace wiper blades, light bulbs, and other basic components.
  • Assist senior mechanics with repairs and inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Comply with all company, OSHA, EPA, and DOT rules and guidelines.
  • Perform quality work in a timely manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • One year experience or Trade School certification.
  • A strong interest in automotive repair and a desire to learn is essential.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are a must.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to extra hours when needed.
  • Ability to adjust to work schedule and business needs.
  • Adaptive and flexible, with a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Willingness to build your own basic tool set (specifics can be discussed).
