Job Description\n

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position in Colorado requiring a compact or CO RN license and NICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a hospital setting
  • Neonatal patient population, including critically ill and premature newborns
  • Day shift, 12-hour shifts, three days per week
  • Use of Epic EMR system for charting
  • May be required to float to other departments within competency and qualifications
  • Potential on-call requirements during scheduled shifts
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for neonatal patients
  • Role involves direct care, ongoing health status assessments, and patient / family education
  • All documentation must meet hospital and regulatory standards
  • Team-based work environment with possible cross-coverage support
  • Expectations for timely completion of background and drug screen prior to start

  • Active CO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year recent NICU nursing experience required
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with at least an ASN
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • NRP certification required for NICU assignment
  • All required certifications must not expire prior to start date
  • Epic charting experience required
