Part-time Library Assistant - Fanwood Memorial Library

The Fanwood Memorial Library is looking for a Part-Time Library Assistant

• 12 to 15 hours per week
• Schedule includes Saturdays and evenings.

The Library Assistant is responsible for checking out and returning materials, issuing library cards, handling fines and fees, answering the telephone, providing simple reference and basic readers' advisory, processing holds, troubleshooting patron issues and concerns, assisting patrons with public computers, copiers, and printers, opening and closing the library.

Requirements :

This position involves standing, stooping and light lifting. Necessary library-specific training will be provided. Starting salary is $17.50 per hour.
