We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Dynamics Engineer to join our team with Nexus Solutions, a teammate company.

​This position will be performing structural dynamic analysis on spacecraft and lunar vehicles in multiple NASA human spaceflight programs. This includes Orion, Gateway, Human Landing System, Commercial Crew Program, Lunar Terrain Vehicle, Pressurized Rover, and others. The position will require the following skills, knowledge, and abilities :

• Perform detailed finite element modeling, dynamic model reduction, coupled loads analysis, and evaluate results
• Perform analyses using commercial and in-house codes as well as write new simulation scripts, typically with Python
• Perform modal analysis on component Finite Element Analysis models in preparation for modal tests
• Perform vibroacoustic analysis on finite element models in preparation for acoustic and random vibration tests
• Identify critical modes for a component or integrated system
• Review and process modal and structural data (analytical and test)
• Develop or review test plans and procedures, documenting test results
• Signal Processing
• Perform other duties as required​
