Culture and Experience Manager at Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation

The Culture and Experience Manager is responsible for maintaining the department's ideal culture and enhancing the employee experience, thereby reinforcing our commitment to Legendary Guest Experiences. The C&E Manager will leverage their creative energy to oversee and manage the delivery of training, resources, shared learning experiences, engagement practices, and communication strategies to achieve optimal service for both customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements :

Requires any combination of education (above the high school level) and / or experience equivalent to eight (8) years in fields utilizing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities in areas such as parks administration, recreation administration, business administration, or public administration.

Based on specific job duties, may be required to have, or obtain, a current and valid Virginia or North Carolina driver's license in accordance with DMV eligibility requirements.

Special Requirements :

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when required.

This position may require wearing and maintaining appropriate personal protective equipment in designated areas of risk.
