Position Summary
Our exciting Manager-In-Training (MIT) program provides hands-on and computer-based training over approximately twelve (12) weeks to learn and grow within an established company. The program focuses on managing your own account and includes the following areas :
General Training & Comprehension - Learn and perform housekeeping, heavy housekeeping / floor tech, and laundry roles; operate and teach others to operate various cleaning equipment.Leadership Development - Assist in training, quality control, and staff in-servicing per policies, procedures, and federal / state requirements.Policies & Procedures - Provide leadership and guidance to meet quality standards, inventory, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations; ensure compliance with standards and procedures.Reporting - Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment; report to HCSG and Facility management.Training - Responsible for training, quality control, and in-servicing staff to meet HCSG standards; perform site tours to assess work quality with QCIs.Leadership - Handle managerial responsibilities including payroll submission, staffing, coaching, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory.Communication - Convey directives from client managers and administrators to HCSG staff.Safety - Use PPE, follow safety protocols, report equipment or product needs, and follow infection control procedures.Punctuality - Maintain consistent attendance and timely task completion.Customer Experience - Represent HCSG positively with clients and residents.Resident Experience - Maintain positive, tactful interactions with residents and guests.Qualifications
