Position overview

The Manufacturing Engineer III is a highly experienced role responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment in one or more facilities. They oversee and optimize complex manufacturing and assembly of Parker products, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and develop advanced manufacturing techniques, testing systems and methods for efficiency, and planning assembly layouts to optimize production, quality, cost, and safety. May be responsible for developing and deploying large capital projects.

Essential Functions

  • Manufacturing Process Flow – Plan and design complex manufacturing processes to improve manufacture and assembly; determine equipment and tooling needed to meet goals and specifications.
  • Process Improvement – Develop and implement process improvement projects focused on efficiency, yield, safety, and cost; lead teams in large-scale initiatives.
  • Engineering Design Support – Recommend design concepts to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations across multiple solution lines; apply technical standards and concepts.
  • Remediation – Investigate and take corrective action to ensure product quality and resolve quality issues.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Education and experience – Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering field with 5–8 years of experience.
  • Advanced knowledge to apply engineering concepts across multiple solution lines.
  • Systematic, disciplined, analytical problem-solving for sophisticated scope.
  • Continuous improvement methods in quality and manufacturing (e.g., pull systems, process mapping, JIT).
  • Advanced knowledge of data structures and database programming.
  • CAD / CAM systems or other computer-aided manufacturing tools experience; proficiency with standard business software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to develop new procedures to solve problems and read / understand complex drawings and specifications.
  • Advanced GD&T knowledge; ability to analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task; strong prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering field with 5–8 years of experience.
  • Advanced knowledge to apply concepts across multiple solution lines.
  • Analytical problem-solving for sophisticated scope and complexity.
  • Continuous improvement methods in quality and manufacturing (e.g., pull systems, process mapping, JIT).
  • Advanced knowledge of data structures and database programming.
  • CAD / CAM or similar CAM tools proficiency; data analysis tools.
  • Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications; GD&T.
  • Strong communication, organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and web browsers.
  • Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay Range : $97,863.00 annually to $157,990.00 annually.
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
