Video Test Engineer – Jobs Via Dice

Responsibilities

• Perform manual end-to-end testing for IP video clients across devices (Roku, smartphones, Apple TV, smart TVs, etc.)
• Conduct regression testing with development teams during bi-weekly release cycles
• Support testing of video delivery systems, including encoders and packagers, to ensure stable playback and synchronization
• Use tools such as Charles Proxy and Splunk to validate video streaming, playback, and performance metrics
• Verify functionality such as DASH, HDCP, HCP, and dynamic ad insertion (DAI)
• Assist in scaling testing operations as new devices and workloads are introduced
• Log and track defects in test management systems and ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of video platform releases

Pay range : $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 (may vary based on experience and location). Benefits include medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA / FSA, 401(k), life, disability, and paid time off.
