Job Title : Senior Caregiver

As a caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence within the comfort of their own homes. You will follow personalized care plans and deliver a range of services, including companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and personal care assistance, such as bathing and dressing.

Minimum Qualifications :
Experience : A minimum of 1,000 hours (approximately 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time) of experience working with geriatric or chronically ill individuals is preferred. Exceptions will be made for newly licensed CNAs, HHAs, or those with experience in providing companionship and housekeeping.Certifications : CNA or HHA certification is preferred but not required.Health and Safety : Proof of current TB testing, the ability to safely transfer clients, and adherence to infection control protocols.Transportation : Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance are required for client transportation.Background Check : Ability to pass both national and state criminal background checks.Communication Skills : Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.Key Responsibilities :
Care Plan Implementation : Follow personalized care plans to ensure clients receive the necessary support and assistance.Client Support : Provide companionship, assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding).Communication & Advocacy : Report any changes in the client’s condition to the Care Manager and advocate for client needs.Safety & Compliance : Adhere to safety and infection control protocols; notify the office when additional supplies are needed.Timekeeping & Documentation : Accurately record hours, tasks, and client status using the ClearCare Telephony system.Professionalism : Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies and dress code.Physical Demands :
