Drive to assigned supplier / vendor and warehouse locations according to a predetermined route and delivery schedule. Deliver assigned loads back to warehouse locations for receiving into inventory. Perform inspections of loads and paperwork, ensuring accurate product counts, invoices, and quality checks. Accurately complete all required paperwork associated with backhaul operations. Regularly communicate with direct supervisors about route, load, and schedule, providing updates on any issues. Perform other related duties as assigned. 6+ months of commercial driving experience High school diploma / GED or state-approved equivalent Internal candidates must be in good standing Effective verbal and written communication skills Valid CDL A Must be 21 years of age Meet all State licensing and / or certification requirements (where applicable) Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check Pass road test Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure one Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move / stack product cases / freight weighing between 10-90 pounds

The Tractor-Trailer Driver will operate a tractor-trailer, tandem trailer, and / or straight trucks on intrastate and / or interstate routes, picking up various food products in a safe and timely manner while adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This role also involves delivering and unloading food items while interacting professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
