The Auction Accountant will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across various accounting functions. This remote position requires occasional travel to collaborate with the multi-division Corporate Accountant. Responsibilities include preparing auction settlements, overseeing escrow accounts, managing inventory, supporting sales tax processes, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and handling other accounting-related tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders. Although this is a remote position, the ideal candidate would be located in Southern Illinois, Indiana and / or the Southwestern part of Kentucky for in-person meetings when required.
