• Collect and assess patient data, identifying problems and setting priorities under the guidance of a licensed RN.\n
• Participate in developing a comprehensive plan of care, involving the patient and family, with guidance from the licensed RN.\n
• Deliver care that aligns with established practice standards, effectively communicating with patients and providing necessary education.\n
• Document and evaluate patient care thoroughly, reporting observations and implementing actions as needed under supervision.\n
• Fulfill duties assigned to support optimal patient care, actively participating in quality improvement processes.\n
• Complete all clinical skills as required under direct supervision from an experienced RN.\n\nSupervisory / Management Responsibility\n
• This is a non-management position that reports to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n
• Education : Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Bachelor's degree preferred.\n
• Experience : No previous nursing experience required; however, candidates with more than 12 months of experience will not be considered.\n\nIn Lieu Of\n
• A temporary license or Graduate Nurse licensure can be accepted upon receipt of diploma and NCLEX test date. The Graduate Nurse will work under the direct supervision of an RN until NCLEX is successfully completed.\n
• All newly hired RNs at Prisma Health must have an ADN or BSN degree from an accredited institution as of January 1, 2019.\n\nRequired Certifications, Registrations, Licenses\n
