Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Newtown Square, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to those around you. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining open communication with staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order and support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions within healthcare facilities.
  • Document security-related activities and observations according to Allied Universal policies and client site requirements.
  • Communicate with staff, visitors, and / or emergency personnel as needed to relay information and support the security-related mission of the healthcare location.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying authorized individuals, and reporting irregularities.
  • Support Allied Universal and client teams by remaining visible and approachable throughout assigned shifts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Experience providing customer service is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
