Job Title : Litigation Legal Assistant – White Collar Crime

Location : Dallas, TX

Work Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8 : 00 AM or 8 : 30 AM start time | 8-hour days with 1-hour lunch

Type of Employment : Direct Hire

Compensation : $65000 – $90000 / Year (based on experience) + Discretionary Holiday Bonus

Industry : Legal Services

Job Description :

Addison Group is seeking a highly experienced General Litigation Legal Assistant to support a team of attorneys focused on white collar litigation for our client, a Texas-based law firm. This onsite role requires strong legal administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide administrative support to a group of six attorneys handling complex litigation matters
Draft, format, and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and other court documents
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, arrange travel, and process expense reports
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for legal documents and correspondence
Answer phones, relay messages, and coordinate conference calls
Open, review, and route incoming mail; assist with outgoing deliveries as needed
Perform e-filing with county, state, and federal courts
Assist in preparing materials for hearings, depositions, and client meetings

Qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant supporting general litigation (corporate / business -focused clients only – no plaintiff or insurance defense backgrounds)

Prior experience supporting white collar litigation attorneys is a strong plus (e.g., fraud, antitrust, money laundering, tax evasion, etc.)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat

Experienced with legal billing software (Aderant preferred)

Strong document management skills using DMS platforms

Typing speed of at least 70 WPM

Deep knowledge of local, state, and federal court procedures and e-filing standards

Excellent organizational and written / verbal communication skills

Ability to handle multiple attorneys and projects simultaneously with professionalism and accuracy
