HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced travel ER RN for MyMichigan Health in Alma, MI . This role provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit (ED / SSU) , offering compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview :

Provide care to emergency, observation, and outpatient patients , initiating immediate care in life-threatening situations

Assist physicians and team members in performing multiple procedures using both simple and complex nursing skills

Deliver comfort and support to patients, families, and visitors using the Relationship-Based Care Model

Communicate effectively with EMS and hospital staff, relaying physician orders for pre-hospital care

Key Responsibilities :

40% : Maintain a customer-focused, non-judgmental, compassionate attitude; collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient care

30% : Assess patient needs, provide skilled nursing care per physician orders, administer medications, perform treatments, assist with transfers, respond to alarms, and perform other duties as assigned

20% : Evaluate treatment effectiveness and collaborate on updates to care plans to improve outcomes

10% : Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; follow ED / SSU policies and procedures; guide patient teaching and uphold professional nursing standards

Requirements : Required :

2+ years of ER nursing experience

BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA)
