Imaging Specialist

The role of a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is to perform a wide range of imaging procedures with precision and accuracy. This position requires flexibility in terms of working different shifts and at various campuses as needed.

To be successful in this position, the CT Technologist must possess strong troubleshooting skills, be able to participate in quality assurance activities, and demonstrate an understanding of image processing and archiving systems.

In addition to technical expertise, the CT Technologist must also adhere to established competencies and guidelines outlined by management, while maintaining a commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability.

The CT Technologist will also play a key role in promoting staff growth and development, as well as employee engagement, through collaboration with management, colleagues, and physicians to create an optimal work environment.

Furthermore, the CT Technologist must ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and standards of care, as mandated by regulatory entities.

Within the scope of their license, certification, and documented competencies, the CT Technologist will perform examinations and procedures as needed to optimize patient throughput.
