The company is looking to add Junior Product Champions / Domain Experts to support local business units in commercializing and deploying advanced services.
These roles will focus on one of the following areas :
- Reservoir and Source Rock Evaluation, Drilling Solutions, Digital and Data Management, or Laboratory Services. www.geolog.com THE POSITION The Product Champion / Domain Expert for Advanced Services is responsible for support Geolog operations people and end-customers on Advanced Service(s) under his / her responsibility.
- He / She is someone who sees value, masters every aspect and acts as the reference person and expert within the company for a product, or a service or group of products / services.
- He / She is the interface for the products / services under his responsibility with the R&D engineers of reference and helps in the creation and development of the product in a systematic fashion.
- He / She is also in charge of the production / revision of manuals, training modules, data sheets and marketing support material for the product of reference. The Product Champion / Domain Expert generates support for the product, realizes the marketing potential and continuously advocates the product.
Responsibilities include, but not limited, to :
To provide support to Advanced Services Specialists (in relation to the product / service under his / her responsibility).To keep, to have available and updated all the related standard reporting formats, procedures and quality controls in relation to the product / service under his / her responsibility.To create, to update and to archive the manuals for the product / service under his / her responsibility.To prepare and keep updated the training program and the material in support in relation to the product / service under his / her responsibility.Eventually deliver training courses, either to trainers , either to field engineers.To support the set-ups and the start-ups of new projects, when possible contributing in the installations.To provide the quality check of logs and reports produced in the projects under his / her responsibility.To keep an updated experience record tracking the projects where the product / service under his / her responsibility were provided.To liaise with Leonardo, technical department and R&D to track recurrent issues and suggest improvements.To support and be the first person to contact for customers for questions in relation to the product / service under his / her responsibility.To keep up to date on technology innovation and be prepared to make recommendations.To provide feedbacks and suggestions to hardware and software R&D departments.To prepare systematically a monthly synthetic report to management, including service and financial KPIs.The report should also include a market share estimation and a competition overview section.REQUIREMENTS University graduate with 3 years of experience in Surface Logging service as Data Engineer / Specialist or cooperating with R&D; Demonstrated deep competence and understanding of every aspect of the product / service under his / her responsibility, including technical and commercial ones; Strong problem-solving attitude on the relevant hardware and software architectures; Ability to listen and ability to communicate effectively with managers, peers and GEOLOG Organization, both in written and verbally; Ability to listen and ability to communicate effectively with customer, both in written and verbally.He must be capable to understand their problems and propose effective solutions; Team player with ability to work within culturally diverse environments; Availability for international travel; Demonstrated ability to draft and implement manuals and procedures; Strong oral and written English essential.Spanish, French an advantage; Ability to develop strong professional relationships with those he / she interacts with and inspire trust and confidence; diplomatic and persuasive style; Ability to exercise his / her discretion and independent judgment; Uses logic to solve problems with effective solutions; Learns quickly and adapts to new situations and changes Is personally committed to continuous improvement; A high level of drive, creativity and motivation to deal with problems; Manages and provides support, coaching and guidance to all employees, acts as a role model for all personnel and helps to build and maintain effective teamwork Powered by JazzHR
