LocumJobsOnline is working with Locum Tenens Partners to find a qualified Psychiatry MD in Iowa!

About The Position

Great IA Psychiatry opportunity for Supplemental coverage

starting 9 / 15 / 25 or ASAP and ongoing.

Outpatient

Scheduled Clinical Hours plus Call

Shift : PRN Support, M-F or 7 days / wk.; 8a-5p

Call : Every 3rd day 8a-5p

Rounding : 28 bed adult unit and 8 bed adolescent unit

(ages 8-17)

Weekend Requirements : As Needed

Group : 3 Physicians, 10 APPs

Locum to supervise APPs.

Lab & Pharmacy onsite.

PPS : 36 IPs (28 adult, 8 adolescent)

Service Offered in Practice : IP Hospitalization, Med. Mgmt.,

Individual & Group therapy, Recreational therapy and Discharge Planning

Job Responsibilities :

  • Round on 28 bed adult unit & 8 bed Adolescent unit (ages 8-17)
  • Supervise 2 APPs including

EMR : Cerner

Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurrence Form Malpractice

insurance provided.
