AppleOne has partnered with a privately owned General Contractor that specializes in Commercial and Residential Construction to assist them in hiring a Purchasing Agent to join their team.

Title : Purchasing Agent

Location : Corona, CA (100% Onsite)

Schedule : Mon-Fri 6 : 00am-3 : 00pm

Pay Range : $28-$35 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities :

Source and purchase construction materials, tools, and equipment needed for commercial and residential projects

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing

Track and manage purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels to avoid project delays or shortages

Review invoices and reconcile with purchase orders in QuickBooks to ensure accuracy

Collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and other team members to anticipate material needs for upcoming projects

Maintain detailed records of purchases, vendor contracts, and project budgets

Generate reports on purchasing activity, costs, and inventory using Excel and Outlook

Communicate effectively with bilingual teams, vendors, and stakeholders, providing updates on orders and resolving any procurement issues

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality control requirements in all purchasing activities

Qualifications :

2+ years of recent experience in construction material purchasing (Example : Concrete, rebar, lumber, etc.)

Proficiency in QuickBooks

Bilingual (Spanish / English)

Strong skills in Excel and Outlook

Excellent organizational and communication skills
