Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down ICU nights position in Illinois requiring at least one year of ICU or progressive care experience and a current IL RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a step down ICU setting within a hospital environment
  • Handles intensive care and progressive care patient populations
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
  • Role involves managing patients requiring intensive or progressive care support
  • Quick start assignment available
  • Floating between ICU and PCU settings may be required
  • No COVID-19 vaccination required for this position

  • Active and current Illinois RN license required
  • Minimum of one year recent ICU or progressive care experience
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
  • Experience with chest tubes and trauma surgeries required
