The GSMP (Global Standards Management process) Manager plays an essential role in the international standards community. The GSMP Manager unites stakeholders ensuring the smooth creation of global standards from gathering requirements to approving a standardised solution.
This role is a 3-year contract position. Preferred location New Jersey (Europe optional).
The ideal candidate will proactively manage risks, align technical concepts with standards goals and communicate clearly across stakeholder groups. They will coordinate resources and engage participants to maximise collaboration, while applying strong project management practices to ensure timely progress and milestone approvals. Skilled in facilitation and change management, the successful candidate will foster transparent teamwork, resolve conflicts constructively and prepare for contingencies throughout the standards development lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have expertise in fostering relationships and building consensus among diverse stakeholders. The GSMP Manager’s goal is consensus-based development of global standards that will be implemented by organisations to achieve efficiencies across industry value chains.
