Position Summary
Cerebrum Mindsight is seeking a Part-Time Medical Director to provide strategic medical oversight and clinical leadership for its behavioral health and addiction treatment programs. This hybrid remote position offers flexibility while maintaining active engagement in clinical operations, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Medical Director ensures medical services are delivered safely, ethically, and in full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Applicant must be a licensed Medical Doctor (MD or DO) or an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a collaborative agreement in the State of Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing medical leadership and oversight for all behavioral health and substance use programs.
- Develop, review, and approve medical policies, treatment protocols, and medication management procedures, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and detoxification programs.
- Supervise and collaborate with prescribing staff to ensure safe, effective, and compliant care.
- Ensure compliance with Indiana Department of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA), DEA, HIPAA, and accreditation (CARF or Joint Commission) standards.
- Participate regularly in interdisciplinary meetings, case consultations, and staff training.
- Oversee clinical risk management and address patient safety and quality-of-care concerns.
- Support professional development for clinical and prescribing personnel.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to promote innovation, operational excellence, and continuous quality improvement.
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time position with flexible hybrid remote schedule; expected 10–20 hours per week.Must maintain an active Indiana medical or APRN license and applicable collaborative agreement (if APRN).Hourly Range : $140 – $200 per hour, commensurate with experience and credentials.Join Us

Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a current, unrestricted Indiana medical license (APRN applicants must hold a valid collaborative agreement).Board Certification in Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty preferred.Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or integrated care.Demonstrated ability to lead and advise within a multidisciplinary treatment environment.Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.Strong communication, collaboration, and ethical decision-making skills.Commitment to providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and evidence-based care consistent with DMHA and accreditation standards.Benefits
