Internship Duration and Schedule
This internship will run from January 2026 through December 2026, providing a full year of valuable, hands-on experience. We offer a flexible work schedule between the hours of 7 : 30 a.m. and 5 : 00 p.m., Monday through Friday, allowing you to balance academic and personal commitments.
- During the academic year : A minimum commitment of 12 hours per week is required
- During summer months : Availability of at least 30 hours per week is expected

The Opportunity
Are you ready to turn your classroom knowledge into real-world impact? Realityworks is looking for two Test Engineering Interns to join our innovative R&D team! This is more than just an internship - it's a hands-on opportunity to build, create, and engineer the future of educational technology.Key Responsibilities
Tests, debugs, and troubleshoots new and refreshed productsCollaborates with R&D and Product Support to identify product requirements and specificationsUses testing tools including defect tracking, test case management and automation toolsTests functionality of prototype products, collaborating on design adjustments when necessary to meet product specificationsGenerates test status reports for projectsCarries out test plans to ensure functionality of designsAccurately documents test results and system configurationsParticipates in product ideation through brainstorming sessions, review of concepts, and interaction with cross-functional teamsCreates sketches, 3D CAD models, and physical prototypes as needed to convey new ideas to othersDesigns and builds test fixtures for use by internal and contracted manufacturers to facilitate functional testing of productsWhat We're Looking For
Actively enrolled in a degree program focused on Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldSolid foundation in electrical and software engineering fundamentalsExperience using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookDesired Qualifications
Knowledge of 3D CAD systemFamiliarity with engineering tools and test equipmentHands-on experience repairing / maintaining / building mechanical systemsExperience using machine shop tools, such as table saw, belt sander, and hand powered toolsLearn More
