Job Title : Assistant Controller

Location : On-site near Independence, Ohio

Schedule : Monday-Friday

Salary : 125,000 to $135,000

Key Responsibilities (Assistant Controller) : Assistant Controller

Oversee corporate accounting functions and monthly close processes

Manage external financial reporting, including SEC filings

Provide guidance on technical accounting matters and policy development

Lead SOX compliance efforts and maintain internal control environment

Collaborate cross-functionally on financial strategy and process improvement

Serve as a key contact for internal and external auditors

Qualifications (Assistant Controller) : Assistant Controller

Bachelor's degree in accounting required

CPA preferred

8+ years of relevant accounting experience

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal controls

Proven leadership and team management experience
