Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you will utilize a stand-up forklift to efficiently pick and pull orders, as well as load and unload trucks. You will receive customer orders, prepare them for loading onto trucks, and ensure accurate handling. This role involves approximately 70% forklift work and 30% manual labor, including wrapping products, picking items by hand from pallets, rearranging the warehouse, and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift to pick and pull orders.
• Load and unload trucks with customer orders.
• Prepare orders for loading onto trucks.
• Engage in manual labor tasks such as wrapping products and picking items by hand off pallets.
• Rearrange the warehouse and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure accurate inventory control and data entry.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

Work in a cold refrigerated environment while standing for 8+ hours. One day of weekend overtime is mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VISTA, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 / hr.
