Specialty Dental Brands is a growing leader in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery partnerships, offering best-in-class support and infrastructure to practices while preserving their identity and autonomy.
We are hiring a Credentialing Support Admin to join our team and support our network of practices by ensuring providers are properly credentialed, enrolled, and maintained with payers and regulatory bodies.
What You’ll Do
As Credentialing Support, you will :
- Manage the full lifecycle of provider credentialing and re-credentialing with health plans, insurance networks, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare, assemble, and submit credentialing applications, renewals, and related documentation in a timely and compliant manner.
- Monitor expiration dates, track credentials, and alert providers and internal stakeholders of upcoming deadlines.
- Verify provider education, licensure, board certification, malpractice insurance, hospital privileges, and other supporting documents.
- Maintain detailed provider files and databases (e.g. credentialing management systems, internal CRMs).
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer-specific credentialing requirements, including handling declines, appeals, and credentialing audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. contracting, operations, provider relations) to resolve credentialing issues or deficiencies.
- Generate periodic reports and metrics on credentialing status, turn-around times, and outstanding tasks.
- Stay current on changes to credentialing regulations, insurance payer policies, and best practices in provider credentialing.
Requirements : Who You Are
2+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or a related area preferred (preferably in dental or medical specialty networks).Experience submitting applications to payers, managed care organizations, and regulatory bodies.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills — able to manage multiple provider credential files simultaneously.Familiarity with credentialing software systems or databases.Ability to interpret and apply payer-specific credentialing rules, guidelines, and credentialing timetables.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self-driven, able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally.High ethical standards, confidentiality, and compliance mindset.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Suite or equivalent tools.Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience in dental credentialing (pediatric, orthodontics, oral surgery).Experience with credentialing in multiple states (multi-state provider networks).Knowledge of HIPAA, state licensure boards, and dental regulatory requirements.What We Offer
