About The Position

Interventional Cardiology Locums - New Mexico

Embrace a rewarding Interventional Cardiology assignment in New Mexico, near Albuquerque International Sunport

Highlights

  • Only 7 consecutive days per month, you choose the schedule
  • Ongoing, flexible assignment with potential for full time coverage
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient settings for variety
  • Full hospital cath lab and outpatient nursing support

Practice Setting

  • Combination of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic work
  • Support from dedicated hospital and clinic teams, no APPs
  • Focused on adult cardiology care with a collaborative environment

    • Schedule

  • 24 hour call during assignment week
  • Block scheduling available to maximize time off between rotations
  • Minimum 7 consecutive days per month, ideal for work life balance

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Interventional procedures : left / right heart caths, stents, pacemakers, AICDs, loop recorders, TEEs
  • Includes diagnostic reads : echos, stress tests, and nuclear studies
  • Opportunity to balance inpatient consults and outpatient procedures

    • Requirements

  • Board certified Interventional Cardiologist (MD or DO)
  • Active New Mexico medical license required
  • ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Travel and lodging provided
  • Convenient access via Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ)
  • All transportation expenses reimbursed, including mileage and airfare
