• Triage experience preferred

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting.

The nurse will work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The average patient volume is 125-150 daily.

The unit has 32 total beds, including 2 trauma bays and 2 seclusion rooms.

Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 4-5 depending on patient acuity.

The nurse will be expected to float within the designated region if necessary.

Charge nurses will oversee both shifts and manage patient assignments as needed.

Staffing includes ED techs, EMTs, and security personnel.

The nursing staff will be responsible for monitoring telemetry and interpreting strips.

Pharmacy services are available 24 / 7 with dedicated staff during peak hours.

Common cases include general ER patients, strokes, and major trauma cases.

This role requires strong critical thinking and clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates with triage experience may be required to complete a triage assessment.
