Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies. Assist with visitor registration, maintaining accurate logs and issuing visitor badges as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures. Communicate and coordinate with building management and / or emergency responders as appropriate during incidents. Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity in the immediate area. Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and / or assisting with general inquiries related to the location. Complete daily activity reports and / or incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
