Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• This position provides precertification and verification of benefits for incoming patients.
• Collaborates and coordinates with designated staff to get pertinent information for inpatient precertification.
• Maintains a system for tracking progress from time case obtained in Intake until days are secured and then hands off to Utilization Review.
• Maintains documentation in MS4 and Midas on progress of each case still in precertification standing.
• Must ensure verification of insurance on all cases.
