Compensation : $60,000–$70,000 base

Role Overview

The L2 Team Systems Analyst provides second-level support and light systems administration for local and regional environments—owning escalations from L1, partnering with L3, and leading small projects that keep infrastructure and endpoints running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver courteous, timely support to end users; log and track all work in the ticketing system
  • Administer and troubleshoot local infrastructure : hypervisors, switches, routers / firewalls, backup servers
  • Support endpoint hardware / software using best practices; collaborate with peers / management on complex issues
  • Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, peripherals, and standard software images
  • Serve as escalation point for L1 and as a de-escalation bridge to L3
  • Act as technical lead on select local / regional initiatives and acquisitions
  • Participate daily in the L2 support queue and contribute to knowledge articles / runbooks
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–5 years in an end-user facing technical support or systems / admin role
  • Experience supporting distributed / remote users preferred
  • Associate degree in a computer-related field; bachelor’s preferred (relevant certs considered)
  • Comfortable with core infra concepts : virtualization, switching, routing / firewalls, backups
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and ticket hygiene; clear written and verbal communication
  • Team-oriented, coachable, and proactive about asking for help when needed
  • Able to support users with varied skill levels, work independently or on a project team, make sound decisions under pressure, and spot trends to recommend preventive improvements
  • Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)
