VP Data & Analytics

VP Data & Analytics, 3M, St. Paul, MN : Oversee all aspects of data & analytics (D&A) function. Lead data scientists, analysts, & data engineers, & collaborate w / cross-functional teams to build data products & platforms to enable bus. functions to derive & leverage data & insights for driving innovation, operational efficiency, & growth. Dvlp & execute D&A strategy aligned w / overall org. goals, to enable data-driven decision-making & achieve bus. objectives. Define & maintain data architecture & infrastructure. Contribute to evolution of GenAI efforts. Manage team of IT Directors, IT Sr Managers, & IT Specialists. MBA req'd. Must have 8 yrs exp. (i) in progressively responsible roles in Data, Analytics, & AI; (ii) w / translating D&A into actionable insights & bus. outcomes; & (iii) w / data mgmt, data governance, & data architecture principles, w / hands-on exp. in implementing scalable data solutions. Must also have 5 yrs exp. (i) w / budgetary, P&L, or fiscal responsibility; (ii) in D&A functions & leading cross functional D&A teams; (iii) w / progressive exp. in project mgmt & prioritizing & managing multiple large D&A initiatives simultaneously; & (iv) w / relevant technologies & tools, such as ML & GenAI models, Snowflake, AWS & Azure data services, Power BI, & Databricks. Exp. may be gained concurrently. May be eligible for telecommuting up to 2 days / wk from w / in commuting distance of St. Paul office. Int'l & domestic travel req'd ≤15% of the time.
