Job Description
Company Overview
Pearl West is not your typical consumer brand company. We own and operate a portfolio of fast-scaling e-commerce brands—currently at over $40M in run rate—with the goal of growing and exiting each one at their peak. Some of our brands are homegrown, others acquired. All are performance-driven and built to scale fast.
We operate like a startup but with capital and experience that rival private equity. Our centralized team model allows us to build, test, and iterate at lightning speed across media, creative, ops, and growth. We’ve assembled a crew of high-ownership marketers, operators, and strategists who know how to ship fast and scale smart.
We’re backed by operators who’ve built 9-figure DTC brands and seen exits from the inside. Now, we’re building a top-tier performance marketing engine—and we’re looking for a specialist in identifying breakout talent before they go mainstream.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Director of Influencer and Ambassador Partnerships to help us discover and build relationships with early-stage, high-potential creators across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Your job is to spot talent before they blow up—and bring them into our ecosystem.
This is not about chasing big names. It’s about recognizing rising stars and aligning with them early, especially in the fitness, wellness, and performance verticals. You’ll identify promising creators, maintain curated watchlists, and support outreach efforts in collaboration with our marketing and brand teams.
This is a contract / consultant role with flexible hours, designed for someone who already lives inside the creator space and knows how to find the signal in the noise.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify up-and-coming creators across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok—especially in fitness, wellness, health, and performance niches.
- Build curated lists of high-potential creators per week who align with our brand aesthetics, values, and customer psychographics.
- Analyze creator engagement, audience quality, content style, and growth velocity to determine breakout potential.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align creator selections with product launches, brand campaigns, and category goals.
- Source relevant creator contact details and support outreach or intros to facilitate partnerships.
- Stay on top of platform trends, subcultures, and emerging content formats.
- Present examples of the kind of creators who fit our target persona (to be guided by examples from John)
