Responsibilities

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescents and young adults? Newport Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic LPN / LVN to provide on-site nursing and care in our supportive and nurturing facilities. What You'll Do

• Administering medications and monitoring vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
• Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with our Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed.
• Monitoring chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions.
• Maintaining comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols.
• Collaborating with Care Coordinators regarding medication management and refills.
• Participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care.
