Partners Professional is pleased to be assisting our client searching for experienced Procurement Specialists for openings at their facility located in Savannah / Pooler GA. The selected candidates will drive purchasing operations and source for their manufacturing and offices on site daily, Monday thru Friday, 8-5. This role is being offered as a contract-to-hire opportunity with the goal of permanent placement with successful production, attendance, application of training and systems. You must currently reside within a comfortable commute distance to Pooler / Savannah GA.

Responsibilities :

Using experience in analytics, cost control, accounting and finance
Connect with vendors and negotiate competitive bids
Sourcing competitive pricing and optimize vendor selection
Execute purchases and issue POs -full cycle process
Record keeping and production, document control
Collaborate across teams to meet purchasing goals
Strong professional communication skills- external, internal- verbally, written
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Manage semi-finished goods production and coordinate first articles

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree preferred -Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or similar

3 years + experience in purchasing, procurement, and vendor management-

Analytics, accounting software-preferably in manufacturing

Advanced ERP matrices

Preferred background in manufacturing and production

Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Deadline-driven and detail-obsessed

Team player with a collaborative spirit
