Job Description
Reconcile inventory accounts and ensure accurate reporting in the general ledger. Analyze inventory variances and provide detailed explanations for discrepancies. Collaborate with operations teams to maintain accurate inventory records. Prepare monthly and quarterly inventory reports for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the annual audit process by providing inventory-related documentation and support. Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing inventory-related insights. Stay updated on accounting standards and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Inventory Accountant should have : a background in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to inventory management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
