About The Position

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician for an inpatient locum tenens assignment in Maryland. This is a daytime, Monday–Friday role with no weekend or call requirements. Providers will round on existing inpatients and manage new consults as requested by hospital medicine.

Position Highlights

  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM
  • Setting : Inpatient only
  • Call : None
  • Estimated Shifts / Month : 5
  • EMR : Epic
  • Average Census : 3–5 admissions per day
  • Workload : AM rounding on all inpatients listed under Palliative Care; respond to new consults as needed

Requirements

  • Board Status : Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years
  • Licensure : Maryland license preferred, but IMLC candidates accepted
  • Must have BLS, DEA, and CSR
