Job Description
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Manage and review income tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740
- Review international aspects of U.S. federal tax reporting (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 1042)
- Manage the process of preparing various international tax analyses, such earnings and profits calculations, Subpart F, Sourcing and FTC Analyses, and TCJA-related analyses.
- Manage the preparation and review of quarterly foreign reporting tax packages
- Supporting the coordination, preparation and submission of non-US tax returns.
- Support and assist in managing non-US tax inquiries and tax audits.
- Support transfer pricing documentation, planning, and intercompany policy development
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and external advisors to ensure compliance with international tax laws
- Monitor global tax developments and assess their impact on the company's operations
- Assist in the assessment and implementation of tax strategies in response to global tax reform initiatives and regulatory changes
- Provide analysis and build tax models related to tax compliance, planning and provision matters, including retrieving necessary data
- Assist the Senior Manager of Global Direct Tax in creating, testing, and documenting internal controls and tax policies
Professional Requirements :
6+ years of public accounting experience at a national or global firmCurrent CPA licenseNeeds to have at least 6 years of experience with ASC 740 (US GAAP tax accounting) and international taxNeeds to have technical expertise in international tax lawUnderstand tax legislations and their impact on complianceStrong quantitative skills and advanced experience with tax accounting analysesProficient in research and writing tax memorandaExtensive experience with multinational companiesExperienced in people management with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior professional staffProficiency in income tax and provision software is (OneSource) preferredFamiliar with OECD guidelines and global tax reform initiativesPersonal Attributes :
