Associate, Air Quality Consultant

Overview

Associate, Air Quality Consultant at Ramboll. Location options include Los Angeles or Irvine, California, or Phoenix, Arizona. Spring / Summer 2026 start. We are seeking detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals who enjoy thinking outside the box and can work independently while applying analytical skills.

Job Description

You will join Ramboll's Environment & Health division, within the Air & Climate Service Line. The team consults with clients across various industries on topics including emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, and compliance. You will contribute to open, collaborative, and creative projects that aim to set the standard among our peers and help Ramboll deliver sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Preparing emissions calculations
• Conducting air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control measures
• Assisting in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports
• Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations

Salary transparency : The U.S. pay range for this position is $65,000 to $77,500. Pay within this range varies by location and may depend on knowledge, skills, and experience. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
