Job Description

EBAD seeks a procurement professional for the position of Buyer, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for day-to-day supplier relationship management : quality, delivery, and price negotiations, conflict resolution, and problem solving.
• Responsible for executing procurement activities for materials and services for assigned categories in support of EBAD Electronics Value Stream in Simsbury, CT.
• Develops and implements sourcing plans, price justification packages, and cost analysis in accordance with the requirements.
• Coordinates activities with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders for maximum operational effectiveness.
• Maintains accurate supplier and material records in Company's ERP system. Utilizes Company systems to maximize procurement efficiencies.
• Ensures that all regulatory and company requirements for procurement, storage, and transportation of materials are adhered to (DFAR / FAR / CPSR).
• Leads or participates in continuous improvement activities to gain expertise and tailor sourcing practices to best fit the organizational requirements.
• Provides input in the Supplier Development process by continually evaluating suppliers' performance and facilitating improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.
