Front Desk Receptionist – Pediatric Dental Office (Summit, NJ)

A pediatric dental practice in Summit, NJ is seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist . The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a dental or medical office and excellent communication skills to ensure a welcoming and efficient patient experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Greet and check in patients warmly and professionally
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
  • Answer phones and respond to emails promptly and courteously
  • Address patient and parent inquiries with clarity and empathy
  • Communicate effectively with referring dentists and their staff
  • Process insurance forms and verify information
  • Reconcile daily credit card transactions
  • Ensure all daily activities are accurately recorded in the practice management system

Qualifications :

  • Prior dental or medical office experience strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with basic computer functions and dental software
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Full-time : 35–40 hours / week
  • Overtime available after 40 hours / week
  • 401(k) plan offered
  • Paid vacation time available
  • Immediate start available for the right candidate
