About The Position We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Hospitalist for a 23-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins Dec 5, 2025, and requires coverage of inpatient nursery cases with day shifts from 7am to 4pm and 24-hour call responsibilities for the newborn nursery. The assignment includes specific dates in December and January, and candidates must hold active board certification in Neonatology and be licensed in New York. Job Details Location : New York Start Date : Dec 5, 2025 LOA : 23 days Provider Type Needed : Pediatric Hospitalist Schedule : Dec 5, 2025, to Dec 12, 2025, at 4pm; Dec 22, 2025, to Jan 5, 2026, at 4pm; shifts are 7am to 4pm with 24-hour call for newborn nursery Responsibilities and Duties Provide inpatient nursery coverage for newborns Manage 24-hour call for newborn nursery coverage Respond to neonatal emergencies as required Collaborate with pediatric and neonatal care teams Adhere to Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) protocols Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation Additional Information Must have active New York medical license Board certification in Neonatology required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required Previous experience in a nursery or neonatal inpatient setting preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
