Patient Population :   Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, Acute and Chronic Kidney Injury, Managing LVAD patients during Dialysis, Managing Complex Medical and Surgical patients during Dialysis.

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1-4 Depending on Acuity

Number of Beds : 11 beds

Department Specifics :  72% BSN rate, 24% certification rate, 24 / 7 coverage with night nurse and on-call, diverse staff population with experience ranging from Novice to 20+ years of experience combined.

Registered Nurse Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

• 2 YEARS OF DIALYSIS EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED

License / Certification

RN – Registered Nurse

BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

Successful EKG Competency validation (within 30 days of hire)
