Anesthesia physician job in Iowa : Locum Tenens AnesthesiologyLocation : Waterloo, IowaLicense : Active IA License or IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)Start Date : January / February 2026 Schedule & Availability

Full-time preferred, but 2 weeks / month minimum required

Weekdays : MondayFriday, 6 : 30 AM 4 : 30 PM

Weekends : Call only (1st, 2nd, and 3rd call rotation)

1st call is activated ~75% of the time

Nights : Call every 34 days

Clinic : None Practice Details

Group : 6 Physicians, 2 CRNAs

OR Rooms : 13

Department Volume : 3050 cases / day (total)

Supervision : Some supervision of CRNAs

EMR : EPIC (as of May 2025) Patient Population & Procedures

OB : Yes (includes TOLAC)

Pediatrics : Yes (mostly tonsils and adenoids)

General Anesthesia : Yes

Conscious Sedation : Required

No hearts or neurosurgery Requirements

Board Certification : Required (No BE)

Licensure : IA license or IMLC (with LOQ at name clear)

Certifications : ACLS (can be obtained during credentialing)

Call Coverage : Required
