Job Summary

As a Shipping Associate, you'll be responsible for picking and staging products for customer orders. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in documenting transactions and validating products to maintain our operational standards and satisfy our customers' expectations.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify the accuracy of shipment.
Unload and organize products using a multi-directional forklift.
Compute amounts, such as space available and bin storage size.
Prepare and stage shipments following picklist using determined units of measure whether it be pieces or feet.
Participate in cycle counting when necessary.
Ensure that all required shift paperwork is accurate and complete.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

History of safety in the workplace and solid attendance record.

Experience using multi-directional, side loader, or swing mast forklifts to move large, heavy, and odd-sized materials.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift, which may include : bending, twisting, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills And Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent
