Operational Risk Business Lead

Our Impact :

The Single-Family Acquisitions Operational Risk team is responsible for working with management to effectively handle Operational Risk.

Your Impact :

In this role, you will work with SF Acquisitions business process owners to :

  • Lead risk assessments with a focus on processes that depend on or create models.
  • Prepare and create operational risk reporting to management.
  • Perform oversight including risk and control documentation, enhancing model risk oversight processes, and advising stakeholders.
  • Evaluate milestones and escalate delays as appropriate.
  • Comply with operational risk and model risk frameworks / programs.
  • Periodically participate in operational risk-related projects that impact the SF Acquisitions division.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of overall relevant experience
  • Operational risk management and / or audit experience
  • Experience with model risk is preferred
  • Relationship Management skills including influencing others, facilitating meetings, engaging partners, building relationship networks, and resolving conflict
  • Relevant professional certifications (PMP, CPA, CISA, CIA, Six Sigma, etc.) are a plus
